Job summary

ClearWater Solutions, LLC (CWS) is seeking a Water/ Wastewater Operator (dual licensed) for Lake Royale, NC. This full-time role oversees operation, maintenance, and supervision of the water distribution plant and wastewater treatment plant.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, wastewater operator certification, a valid driver's license, and experience in water/wastewater settings. Wiling to work overtime and on-call rotations; certifications within the first year are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, monitoring and testing to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations.
• Operate sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment.
• Conduct daily checks of wastewater treatment processes and pump stations.
• Assist with installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities.
• Read meters and gauges that monitor the purification process.
• Operate and maintain water distribution systems including pumps, motors, valves, and generators.
• Analyze pump equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and monitor water operations.
• Conduct daily inspections of plant equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Collect and record data for record maintenance.
• Perform facility grounds maintenance and other housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

• Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and management
• Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of sewage
• Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations
• Assist with the installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities
• Read and interpret meters and gauges that monitor the purification process and operation
• Operates and maintains water distribution system including servicing of pumps, motors, valves, generators, and equipment
• Analyzes and evaluates pump equipment, trouble-shooting malfunctions, and monitoring of water operations
• Responsible for daily inspections of all plant equipment and perform repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
• Collects and records data for record maintenance
• Performs facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks, cutting grass, and various other ‘housekeeping’ duties
• Performs other related duties as directed
