Job summary

ClearWater Solutions, LLC (CWS) is seeking a Water/ Wastewater Operator (dual licensed) for Lake Royale, NC. This full-time role oversees operation, maintenance, and supervision of the water distribution plant and wastewater treatment plant.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, wastewater operator certification, a valid driver's license, and experience in water/wastewater settings. Wiling to work overtime and on-call rotations; certifications within the first year are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Wastewater Operator Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and on-call rotations.
• C Well certification or ability to obtain within first year.
• B Distribution certification or ability to obtain within first year.
• Biological Wastewater Grade 2 certification or ability to obtain within first year.
• Collections Grade 2 certification or ability to obtain within first year.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, monitoring and testing to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations.
• Operate sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment.
• Conduct daily checks of wastewater treatment processes and pump stations.
• Assist with installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities.
• Read meters and gauges that monitor the purification process.
• Operate and maintain water distribution systems including pumps, motors, valves, and generators.
• Analyze pump equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and monitor water operations.
• Conduct daily inspections of plant equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Collect and record data for record maintenance.
• Perform facility grounds maintenance and other housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
