Job summary

Wisconsin Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The role involves managing internal and contracted resources across Gas/Electric operations, ensuring safe, efficient construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution systems.

The supervisor will lead safety meetings, assign work to optimize costs and performance, and drive continuous improvement while upholding union contracts and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3 years' experience in utility or similar industry and/or 3 years' supervision experience.
• Knowledge of union contracts and employee relations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and conduct safety meetings and trainings.
• Manage work assignments to minimize overtime while meeting customer needs.
• Conduct daily tailgate sessions to review tasks and safety.
• Coach, develop and evaluate employees; apply progressive discipline when needed.
• Ensure compliance with labor contracts, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
