Job summary

STV is seeking an OpenRoads Designer (ORD) Specialist in the Water Group to lead, guide, and mentor on ORD utility relocation design. The role emphasizes coordinating design workflows, defining CAD deliverables, and maintaining project quality across offices nationwide.

You will collaborate with technical teams to uphold BIM standards, interface with clients, and oversee model-driven sheets while guiding junior designers and EITs through ORD processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in AEC with ORD utility relocation design.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Capability to manage multiple projects on aggressive timelines.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and coordination of 3D OpenRoads utility models.
• Collaborate to develop and maintain BIM standards and procedures.
• Interface with clients and STV engineers to define CAD deliverables.
• Create and maintain model-driven plan and profile sheets in ORD.
• Mentor junior designers and EITs in ORD workflows.
• Troubleshoot ORD modeling and sheet production issues.
