UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama invites applications for a Pharmacist leader who will direct the Department of Pharmacy, oversee clinical services, and ensure optimal patient care across oncology and infusion programs. Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, licensure by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy, and 3–5 years of oncology/infusion pharmacy experience with leadership responsibilities.

The role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and formulary management.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
Current Alabama Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one.
3–5 years in oncology/infusion pharmacy with leadership experience.

Mansioni

Oversee clinical operations for the infusion pharmacy and cancer services.
Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, USP <797>/<800>, DEA and ALBOP.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient transitions from inpatient to outpatient.
Manage inventory, procurement, and drug shortages; contribute to formulary management.
Drive clinical initiatives, staff development, and quality improvement efforts.
