UAB Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to oversee the daily operations of the Medication Services Department and the Refill Center, providing guidance to pharmacists and technicians serving ambulatory clinics and patients.

The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with at least three years of related experience and current Alabama licensure. Strong leadership, communication, and inventory management skills are essential to ensure compliant, high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Three (3) years of related experience required.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for ambulatory pharmacy operations and oversight of the Pharmacy Refill Center.
• Supervise pharmacists and technicians servicing ambulatory clinics.
• Manage medication inventory, procurement, shortages, and recalls.
• Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, USP standards, ALBOP, and DEA requirements.
• Lead training and development of the Medication Services and Refill Center teams.
