Job summary

Danis Construction Inc in Ohio is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site construction efforts, ensuring work aligns with design, budget, schedule, safety, and quality. This role emphasizes hands-on supervision, collaboration with clients and other contractors, and practical self-perform capabilities on healthcare, education, and commercial projects.

You’ll guide craft teams, manage schedules, uphold safety standards, and mentor field staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent with at-risk, lump sum, negotiated general construction and negotiated at risk CM construction.
• Experience in healthcare, medical, higher education, corporate/commercial, technology, or Life Science.
• Lead with project experience in new construction, renovation and upfit projects valued between $5M-$50M.
• Experience with self-perform work including demolition, structural concrete, rough carpentry, doors/frames/hardware, drywall, ceilings, and division 10 specialties.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, safety and quality.
• Plan and supervise craft foremen and/or craft activities including methods, manpower, materials, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
• Lead project meetings, provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions, and mentor and develop field engineers.
• Streamline project timelines by planning and supervising craft activities, covering construction methods, manpower, materials, equipment, temporary power, and hours worked.
• Ensure all on-site personnel comply with company project procedures, safety, quality program requirements, and work rules.
