Job summary

JPMorganChase in Columbus seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within Employee Platforms to own the packaging, validation, and release execution for Office client software across a global desktop estate. This is a hands-on role with release accountability, focusing on scalable automation, testing, and safe deployments.

You will build pipelines, define ring strategies, serve as the escalation point with Microsoft, and partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance,

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Deep experience with Office 365 deployment, servicing, configuration and support.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering, deployment, patching, validation, and support of Office 365 Apps across enterprise desktop environments.
• Lead release planning and execution using pilot groups, deployment rings, quality gates, and rollback procedures.
• Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational processes using scripting and infrastructure tools.
• Troubleshoot complex application and endpoint issues using logs, telemetry, and root-cause analysis.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for software releases, infrastructure incidents, and vendor engagements.
