Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences, Utilization Review and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Provide in-services to facility staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with facility, governmental, and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, maintenance and safety.
