Job summary

REEDWOOD seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist in Portland, OR to evaluate residents, develop and monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff. You will supervise OT Assistants and educate staff while maintaining comprehensive documentation in EMR systems.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy, state licensure, and strong communication skills. Experience with Net Health and Point Click Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Net Health, PointClickCare) is preferred.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and physicians is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise OT Assistants and aides in resident care.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with care team and families.
• Complete timely, compliant documentation according to policies.
