Job summary

Copper Ridge Healthcare Center is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents on-site in California. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to develop effective treatment plans and ensure quality documentation.

The role includes supervising OTAssistants and providing staff training to support resident mobility and independence. Responsibilities include discharge planning, home exercise program guidance, and education for residents and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.
• Proficient computer skills with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, families, and team members regularly.
• Complete timely documentation in line with policies and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercises and safety.
• Facilitate ordering of durable medical equipment as needed.
