Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager for the Operations Control Center (OCC). The role develops and maintains the dispatch curriculum, guides training for new hires and supervisors, and ensures testing and compliance with ICAO and FAA standards.

The candidate must hold an FAA dispatch certificate, have SABRE Flight Operations Suite expertise, and at least five years in a Part 121 airline OCC, plus two years of teaching experience. Occasional travel and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA dispatch certificate.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with the SABRE Flight Operations Suite.
• Five (5) years of experience with a Part 121 airline's operation center.
• Two (2) years of teaching experience.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the dispatch curriculum.
• Supervise all dispatch training for new hires, Coordinators, Supervisors, and recurrent training and testing.
• Update and maintain dispatch systems based on data from the fuel program and aircraft performance.
• Maintain a presence in the OCC and help plan responses to Irregular Operations.
• Oversee updates to the Dispatch Training Manual.
• On-call responsibilities as required.
