Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license and nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience with at least one year in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to develop and align healthcare course curriculum and instructional materials.
• Ability to train and support instructors and ensure VBON compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Coordinator and faculty with curriculum development, review, revision, and alignment of healthcare course materials.
• Serve as substitute instructor for healthcare courses within qualifications and approved assignments.
• Assist with scheduling Nursing courses and VBON exams as needed.
• Assist with student clinical processes and documentation.
• Adhere to Tidewater Community College and VBON policies and regulatory standards.
