Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Registered Nurse-House Supervisor to lead and organize complex patient care across shifts, ensuring continuity and peer accountability. You will provide and facilitate emergency medical support, acting as the facility nursing expert during all hours.

Preferred candidates have BSN or higher, current RN licensure, and experience with inpatient wards and shift leadership. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a rotating night schedule.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN or CCNE.
• Current, full, active RN license in US state/principal territory or DC.
• Foreign nursing education must be evaluated for degree equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility nursing expert at all hours to support and facilitate emergency medical care.
• Lead delivery of patient care to assure continuity and peer accountability.
• Coordinate staffing resources and scheduling during assigned tours.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and AOD for patient care decisions.
