Job summary

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The role involves overseeing the nursing department in the DON’s absence, coordinating staffing, rounds, and patient admissions, and mentoring evening/night shift staff.

Qualified candidates must be a licensed RN with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including acute care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current license in Virginia.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience including acute care.
• Experience overseeing nursing staff and coordinating admissions/transfers/discharges.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence.
• Reviews staffing at shift change and assigns/replaces staff to meet patient care needs.
• Completes patient care rounds and coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees.
• Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift staff.
