Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, active NYS RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Minimum three years of progressive nursing experience in home care, long-term care, or community-based healthcare.
• Must be approved by NYSDOH as an HHATP Educator for the LHCSA.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining regulatory-compliant training curricula.
• Experience with classroom instruction, clinical labs, and field-based competency validation.
• Strong understanding of DOH survey processes related to aide training and competency.
• Ability to interpret regulatory updates and implement them within training programs.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and accountability of paraprofessional staff.
• Excellent written documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Home Health Aide and Certified Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Develop and maintain curricula in alignment with NYSDOH requirements and agency standards.
• Support competency and educational activities in collaboration with clinical leadership.
• Provide on-call support to promote safe and appropriate delivery of services.
