Job summary

NUWAY Alliance in Minneapolis is seeking a Lead Nurse for a full-time role. The ideal candidate has experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment, and is available Monday through Friday with on-call rotation.

The Lead Nurse will supervise nursing staff, train staff, and work with site leaders to ensure policies are followed and high-quality client care is delivered, while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota
• Must be age 18 or older
• Must be fluent with electronic medical records
• Must have current First Aid/CPR Certification obtained within 30 days of starting work
• Must pass Minnesota DHS background study
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff and ensure NUWAY policy/procedures are followed
• Provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff
• Collaborate with site leaders and technicians to ensure high-quality care
• Cover duties in the absence of Nursing Staff and maintain client confidentiality
