Job summary

Framatome is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead complex design, development, analysis, and field-task execution for Boiling Water Reactor systems. You will independently review analyses, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with stringent government and industry standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with at least 7 years of related experience, including 5 years in BWR design work, and demonstrates advanced problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of related engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of design experience for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR).
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques, and criteria.
• Excellent communication to convey technical data clearly.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; collaborative.
• Advanced problem identification and resolution skills; leadership traits.
• Experience with specialized software/tools and programming languages as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering assignments across design, development, analysis, testing, and field task execution.
• Independently review department work products, risk assessments, RCA/FMEA analyses.
• Propose solutions and autonomous handling of most tasks.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Apply diverse technical techniques and criteria for novel tasks.
• Develop new or adapted products, methods, or models for value.
