Job summary

Framatome seeks a qualified engineer in the United States to provide technical oversight of safety analyses and safety basis documents for nuclear facilities. You will review deterministic and probabilistic analyses for reactor transients and ensure NRC licensing compliance and associated reports.

You will lead engineering teams, manage complex safety programs, and communicate findings to senior management and cross-functional teams, contributing to safe, compliant nuclear operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in nuclear or mechanical engineering
• Extensive hands-on experience in nuclear safety analysis
• Experience with reactor physics and/or thermal hydraulics
• Experience with regulatory review processes and licensing activities
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical results

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of safety analyses and safety basis documents for nuclear facilities.
• Review and validate deterministic and probabilistic safety analyses for reactor transient modeling.
• Ensure NRC licensing compliance and related reports.
• Lead engineering teams, including hiring, training and performance management.
• Manage complex, multi-disciplinary safety analysis programs and communicate findings to leadership.
