Ascension is seeking a Nuclear Medicine professional for Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola to drive diagnostic imaging excellence and lead department staff on the day shift. This full-time role involves proper patient positioning, accurate parameter settings, and timely submission of high-quality images to PACS with complete documentation.

The position emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and ongoing equipment maintenance to ensure safe, efficient patient care in a busy Nuclear Medicine

Competenze

• BLS Provider credential within 30 days of hire date.
• NMTCB or ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine credential prior to hire; NMTCB may be considered in lieu of ARRT-N.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience OR Associate's/Technical degree with 1 year experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Safeguard imaging quality and regulatory compliance by overseeing quality control testing, maintaining inspection readiness, and ensuring full alignment with clinical regulatory agency standards.
• Optimize equipment performance and operational readiness by directing routine maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining an organized, clean clinical environment for safe patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) may be considered in lieu of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N).

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 10 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• Prior leadership experience
• Cardiac PET CT experience
