Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Field Services Engineer for Overwatch to act as SME on tooling fabrication, procurement, procedure management, and outage execution at BWR and PWR sites. This role will drive complex projects involving ISI and in-vessel visual tooling with core verification and reactor service maintenance activities.

The position requires frequent travel (70%+), leadership of nuclear field teams, and the ability to work in radiation-controlled environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 8+ years in BWR maintenance/ISI.
• Minimum 2-year leadership of nuclear field teams at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Overwatch tooling refurbishments.
• Seek new technologies to upgrade or replace aging tooling fleet.
• Support capital investment strategy for fleet expansion in BWR and PWR markets.
• Continual improvement of Overwatch processes.
• Lead tooling conceptual design, field delivery and beyond.
• Provide technical direction for craft labor in outages.
• Serve as single point of contact for outage execution.
• Lead training courses and build field execution teams.
