Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Facility Safety Engineer to provide nuclear facility safety technical support for DOE facilities at the Y-12 National Security Complex. This role requires extensive DOE experience, hazard analyses, and documentation in safety analyses and TS requirements.

The candidate must hold a BS degree with 15+ years of direct experience (10+ DOE-specific) and may possess an MA/MS. Level 5/6 experience is described in the posting.

Qualifications

BS Degree plus 15+ years of direct experience with 10+ years of DOE-specific experience Nuclear/Safety Analysis Engineering
Level 5: BA/BS plus 20+ years or MA/MS with 19+ years
Level 6: BA/BS plus 20+ years with 10 years DOE-specific; or MA/MS with 18+ years with 10 years

Responsibilities

Lead Facility Safety Engineer for DOE facilities at the Y-12 Complexs.
Perform hazard identification, screening, evaluation, and safety analyses.
Document safety requirements and support TSRs; interact with DOE staff.
