Job summary

Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) is seeking a senior Emergency Preparedness leader to oversee monitoring, peer reviews, and assistance activities for nuclear stations. The role interfaces with utility personnel, INPO/WANO management, and industry groups.

You will lead evaluations, help develop emergency response capabilities, and participate in drills and industry response activities, with occasional travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional work experience.
• Four or more years in emergency preparedness.
• Two years of supervisory or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent INPO on Emergency Preparedness issues with industry and regulators.
• Lead as an evaluator on WANO peer reviews for beyond design basis event prep.
• Assist in developing and maintaining INPO’s emergency response capabilities.
