Qualifications
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing FEA software and user subroutines.
- Strong programming in Fortran and C/C++, with Python and Linux scripting.
- Experience with MSC Nastran, Marc, or similar FEA software.
- Deep knowledge of nonlinear solid mechanics, large deformation, and geometric nonlinearity.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of nonlinear FEA techniques and co-simulation features.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to engineers.
- Participate in architecture reviews, roadmaps, and technology decisions.
- Evaluate new technologies to improve simulation capabilities and product quality.
- Prepare design docs, tests, and performance benchmarks; collaborate across teams.
