Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a production associate to support drying, freezing, packaging, and related processing tasks overnight. You will operate and adjust equipment, follow GMPs, and maintain cleanliness and safety throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year production experience, basic math skills, and ability to use ERP systems. Prior forklift experience is a plus, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of production experience or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.
• Ability to operate, adjust, and set up production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills, including ERP systems and desktop applications.
• Strong math skills for counting inventory, reporting weights, and basic calculations.
• Forklift experience is a plus; forklift certification may be required with training.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations by independently performing and coordinating tasks related to drying, freezing, processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, re-packaging, and packaging.
• Operate, adjust, and set up production equipment while ensuring safe, efficient production runs.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, CCP requirements, and safety procedures including PPE and LOTO protocols.
• Complete cleaning, sanitation, and scheduled maintenance to maintain food safety and equipment performance.
• Train and support team members, lead pre-shift meetings, and communicate safety and HR concerns as needed.
