Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations and drive safety, quality, efficiency and team engagement across the plant. You will report to the Site Director and collaborate with Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Accounting, Engineering, Scheduling and Product Lines to sustain a high-performance operation.

You will build a strong, accountable, continuous-improvement focused team, champion Lean and oversee production schedules, resources, and new products

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Ten+ years of related production/manufacturing/operations experience or equivalent.
• Strong leadership to develop and engage teams.
• Solid problem-solving, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations across the facility and supervise leaders on all shifts.
• Build and develop a high-performing production leadership team.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality, Safety and Engineering to optimize resources and workflow.
• Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Review production reports, resolve issues, and ensure HACCP, GMP, BRC, safety and environmental requirements.
