Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-year recent full-time NICU experience (Level III) or completion of KP NICU training within the past 12 months.
• California RN license, BLS, and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process per standards.
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary care with the health care team.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to policies; prevent infections.
• Mentor and coach other team members; participate in ongoing education.
• Document care accurately and timely in electronic systems.
• Support discharge planning and family education.
