Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build network tooling and services that scale as we launch new data centers in APAC and expand globally. You will own architecture end-to-end, write code, and grow the local engineering team while collaborating with European teams.

You will drive day-0 provisioning, CI/CD workflows, observability, and network-to-platform integration, while mentoring engineers and setting coding standards in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong coding skills and ownership mindset; able to ship and operate reliable services.
• Proficiency in Go or readiness to switch; Python is welcome.
• Autonomous in an early-stage environment and able to build processes from scratch.
• Willingness to stay hands-on while leading and growing a team.
• Interest in infrastructure and/or network even if not a networking expert.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain network lifecycle services and tooling: day-0 provisioning, day-N changes, drift detection, operational verification.
• Make network changes safe and transparent with CI/CD workflows, diff tooling, staged rollouts, audit trails and guardrails.
• Develop observability systems that scale across multiple sites: telemetry pipelines, signal quality, incident investigations tooling.
• Close gaps between network and platform: integrate source-of-truth data, expose APIs, build reliable automation.
• Own architecture and technical decisions for APAC region and align with European teams.
• Collaborate with network engineers and SREs to turn operational pain into product tooling.
• Hire and onboard the first engineers in the region, set standards, mentor the team.
