Job summary

Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) in Washington, DC, seeks a Network Engineering Manager for the DC-Net program. You will lead a team of network architects and engineers, shaping vision, strategy, and operational programs to support the District Government’s voice, video, wireless, and data networks.

You will partner with OCTO IT program managers, CIOs, and IT leads across agencies to manage LAN/WAN service requests, ensure security standards, and maintain reliable government network

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end network, unified communications, and wireless services for the DC-Net program.
• Manage a team of engineers and SMEs; collaborate with vendors and agency IT personnel.
• Plan and execute DC-Net network services; ensure security and architectural standards city-wide.
• Respond to incidents and escalations; communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with NOC, architects, and project teams to ensure continuous operations.
