Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network services experience.
• CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certification required.

• Solid background in data center connectivity and hardware support.
• Experience with SOC/compliance frameworks.
• HiTrust-certified MSP experience preferred.

Job Summary

The Lead Network Engineer designs, implements, and maintains our enterprise network infrastructure. You will manage a team of three engineers, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. This role collaborates closely with SecOps and our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to maintain a secure and compliant network environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide three direct reports.
• Collaboration: Partner with SecOps to enforce security policies and resolve vulnerabilities.
• MSP Liaison: Work alongside our MSP to optimize network delivery and support.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee routing, switching, and data center connectivity.
• Security & Firewalls: Manage Cisco Firepower, VPNs, and Cisco Meraki environments.
• Traffic Optimization: Configure and maintain F5 load balancers.
• Operations: Handle network backups, basic virtualization tasks, and MPLS circuits.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive enterprise network services experience.
• Core Competencies: Operations, troubleshooting, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Performance: Proven history in service performance and technical improvement.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent professional network certification required.
• Routing & Switching: Deep expertise in Cisco routing and switching architectures.
• Firewalls & Security: Proven experience with Cisco Firepower and Cisco Meraki.
• Load Balancing: Strong hands-on experience with F5 technology.
• Data Center: Solid background in data center connectivity and hardware support.
• Network Operations: Experience managing MPLS, network backups, and basic virtualization.
• Compliance: Strong understanding of SOC frameworks.
