Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a Network Engineer Lead for the XVIII Airborne Corps Hub and Spoke Mission Training Complexes at Fort Stewart MTC. You will design, develop, build, and maintain the MTC’s data, voice, and video network infrastructure to support training from squad to division levels.

The role requires 8+ years of networking experience, BA/BS in networking or related field, and advanced Cisco expertise.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Network management or related field.
• 8 years’ networking experience.
• Advanced skills on Cisco networking infrastructure: switches, routers, firewalls.
• Mastery of network architecture and topology diagram interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Hardware (switch, router, firewall) configuration management.
• Team leader responsibilities encompassing all contract provided network personnel.
• Coordinate with Government ISSM and Network Architect to maintain security posture.
• Coordinate all aspects of the communications architecture and exercise network support plans.
• Ensure STIG implementation for all security boundary network infrastructure.
• Attend training exercise planning events to meet network requirements.
• Ensure vulnerability remediation across network infrastructure.
• Lead SolarWinds management and tool usage for network performance.
