Job summary

General Dynamics - IT (GDIT) is seeking a Network Engineer for the Fort Wainwright Mission Training Complex (MTC) under MTCCS II. You will design, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified WAN/LAN networks supporting voice, data, and video for exercises and events.

Responsibilities include external network integration, cross‑site coordination, architecture and configuration, installation of circuits, and RMF certification activities to ensure secure, reliable mission networks.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in network design, implementation, and management; MTС experience preferred.
• RMF methodology, certification and accreditation familiarity.
• Strong LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, security, storage and backup knowledge.
• DoD security clearance (Secret) required or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement and oversee classified and unclassified MTC WAN/LAN networks.
• Manage external networks including NIPR/SIPR and tactical networks.
• Coordinate network design and requirements across sites and external orgs.
• Architect, configure, install equipment and circuits for distributed exercises.
• Install, configure, maintain and secure networks and devices.
• Support RMF Certification and Accreditation activities and documentation.
