Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Trainer II to support the XVIII Airborne Corps Hub and Spoke Mission Training Complexes. You’ll tailor Mission Command training to meet customer requirements and help ensure readiness through integrated live, virtual, and constructive training environments.

Responsibilities include preparing and delivering training plans, coordinating resources, updating training packages, and mentoring other MTC trainers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent with military experience preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant military or defense training experience.
• Active SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers Mission Command training based on event/exercise plans.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes collective Mission Command training.
• Identifies gaps and coordinates with management to fill them before execution.
• Updates training support packages and products.
• Maintains a comprehensive repository of training TTPs.
• Develops training materials including curriculum and lectures.
• Coordinates facilities, services, and systems for planned events.
• Integrates Live/Virtual/Constructive and C2 capabilities within training.
• Provides over-the-shoulder training and simulation support.
• Lead planning or operational workgroups and mentor staff.
