Job summary

Temple University Health System seeks a Lead Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and firewall infrastructure, leading the Network Engineers and Network Data Techs in daily activities and projects. The role requires 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; combination of education and experience may be considered.

On-site three days a week at Temple Health Women’s and Families Hospital with 24x7 on-call

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
5 years experience in enterprise network infrastructure required
Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, SD-WAN, ACI, Wi‑Fi protocols required
Experience configuring/troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring systems required
Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders required

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and firewall infrastructure
Lead Network Engineers and Network Data Techs in daily activities and projects
Provide Tier 2/3 support and 24x7 on-call for network infrastructure
Develop and maintain standards, investigate improvements, propose changes
Mentor junior staff and collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams
