Job summary

Agile Defense seeks a Senior Network Design Engineer Lead to support the US Army modernization program across CONUS facilities. You will evaluate configurations, mentor technicians, and collaborate with PMO, PM, and Government POCs to deliver design solutions on schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a technical BA/BS and 10+ years in network design, with active SECRET clearance (TS preferred). CCNA required; CCNP/CCDP is a plus; 30% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline with 10+ years in a similar role.
• Active Secret clearance; TS preferred.
• Cisco CCNA certification; CCNP/CCDP preferred.
• Experience in Layer 2/3 networks including VLANs, VXLANs, VRFs.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for CONUS deployments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment and Cisco Prime.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering assessments of configurations and design concepts.
• Coordinate with PMO and engineers on network architecture decisions.
• Prepare milestone status reports and system concept presentations.
• Adhere to Army engineering processes and submit SSRs.
