Job summary

DMI is seeking a Lead Network Architect to design and oversee enterprise-level network infrastructure supporting critical government systems. The role emphasizes standards, roadmaps, modernization, and secure network design in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

BS in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
MS or PhD preferred for advanced roles.
10+ years in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
Strong knowledge of routing and network protocols.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee enterprise-level network architecture for mission-critical systems.
Define standards, roadmaps, and modernization aligned with security and performance requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams in SD-WAN, IPv6, cloud connectivity, and zero-trust frameworks.
Collaborate with cybersecurity to integrate secure network design principles.
Evaluate emerging technologies and advise leadership on improvements.
Ensure DHS, NIST, and FISMA compliance in deployments.
Serve as technical authority in vendor management and incident response.
Produce architecture diagrams and design docs for stakeholders.
