Delphi-US is seeking a Lead .NET Developer in Hartford, CT to provide technical leadership within a modern Microsoft environment, influence architecture, and guide platform modernization across multiple teams delivering scalable, secure enterprise solutions.

You will establish standards, mentor engineers, participate in architectural reviews, and partner with security and product teams to implement cloud-native designs, microservices, and API-first approaches using Azure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in CS/engineering or related field.
  • Extensive enterprise application development experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET platforms.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems in production.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based solutions, preferably in Azure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns, with sound judgment on when to apply them.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based solutions, preferably in Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including diagnosing production incidents in complex systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, at an enterprise level.
  • Knowledge of platform engineering and internal developer platform practices.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.
  • Experience building mission-critical applications with defined SLAs/SLOs.
  • Background in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Leading large-scale legacy modernization or cloud migration programs.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Experience with SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.
  • Contributions to open source projects, technical publications, or industry conferences.
  • Experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise solutions.
