Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join its in-house Legal team. You will review, redline, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including EPC and construction contracts, while escalating issues to legal counsel as needed.

With 10+ years in commercial contracting, you will lead cross-functional negotiations, apply established company positions, and manage multiple high-stakes deals from RFQ to post‑award matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven 10+ years in commercial contracting, preferably renewable energy, power generation, or EPC.
• Ability to lead cross-functional negotiations and drive issues to resolution.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes in project-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, redline, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including service, construction, and EPC contracts.
• Lead negotiations with customers, contractors, suppliers within approved parameters and legal guidance.
• Apply company positions, lessons learned, and prior outcomes when forming positions.
• Identify commercial risks and develop practical negotiation positions with stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional contract reviews and drive timely decisions.
• Facilitate internal/external negotiation meetings and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Escalate matters needing legal judgment or executive approval.
• Manage multiple negotiations and deadlines with visibility into open issues and timelines.
• Support RFQ, proposal development, and post-award matters
• Capture and apply negotiation outcomes to improve standard agreements and processes
