Job summary

Hanwha Materials Savannah LLC, a leading aerospace supplier, is seeking a Level 3 NDT engineer at our Midway, GA facility. You will own etch and FPI lines, ensuring NADCAP and OEM compliance while driving process improvements.

The role requires extensive aerospace NDT experience, ability to train inspectors, develop processes, and manage budgets. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities to contribute to critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Mechanical or related engineering field.
• US work authorization; ITAR restrictions apply; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience with NADCAP and OEM quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the etch and FPI lines and ensure all activities meet NADCAP/OEM requirements.
• Write procedures, work instructions and technique cards for inspection processes.
• Train and certify inspectors and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.
• Develop etch and FPI processes for parts and evaluate qualification reports.
• Manage budgets for inspection activities and drive cost-reduction projects.
• Support root-cause analysis and communicate status and risks to management.
