Kimley-Horn's Warrenville, Illinois office is seeking a Natural Gas Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their team. This is not a remote position and you will lead pipeline and facility design efforts, collaborating with Civil, Structural, Electrical, and I&C disciplines.

You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, plans, and BOMs, perform calculations for studies and designs, and coordinate surveying, permitting, and land acquisition.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil or related field.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficient with 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8.
• Experience coordinating with clients and overseeing quality.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and CADWorx familiarity.

Aufgaben

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering design efforts with Civil/Structural, Electrical, and I&C disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership for Natural Gas pipeline and facility engineering.
• Design pipeline facilities such as metering/regulating and compressor stations.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, plans, sections, details, and BOMs.
• Perform engineering calculations for studies, reports, and design decisions.
• Coordinate surveying, geotechnical investigations, permitting, and land acquisition.
• Prepare material/equipment specifications for procurement and FAT.
• Lead proposal development, scope, cost estimates and schedules.
• Experience in electric transmission/distribution design.
