Job summary

DataMyte is seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer with deep Android and iOS native expertise and a vision for AI-driven engineering. You will own the mobile platform end-to-end, from architecture and delivery to maintenance across both platforms, collaborating with leadership to translate business needs into elegant mobile solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work independently as the sole mobile platform owner, with strong judgment and accountability.
• Strong documentation discipline to ensure knowledge continuity and platform stability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development, delivery, and maintenance of native Android and iOS mobile applications, ensuring feature parity and quality across both platforms.
• Build responsive user interfaces for phones and tablets on both platforms.
• Apply AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery, modernization, and code quality.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and mobile experiences.
• Manage Proof of Concept activities to validate new features and architectural directions.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Apply MVC, MVVM, MVP architectures and decide when to use each.
• Build and reuse components and libraries across both platforms.
• Perform integration with backend services, cloud infrastructure, and third-party APIs.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization for real-world devices.
• Implement and maintain unit tests for code quality and stability.
• Coordinate with offshore engineers during knowledge transfers and ongoing work.
• Perform design and code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for continuity.
• Manage release activities across App Store and Google Play.
