Besimple AI is seeking a full-time Mobile Engineer lead to own the mobile experience for contributor data collection platforms. You will shape audio data collection workflows, recordings, and submissions that drive training and evaluation of frontier voice AI systems.

This high-ownership role collaborates with founders, product, design, backend, and operations to turn real-world workflows into smooth mobile experiences across devices and network conditions.

Qualifications

• Shipped production mobile apps end-to-end.
• Experience with React Native, Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android.
• Strong sense for fast, intuitive UX.
• Own features from idea to release.
• Experience with background uploads and unreliable networks.
• Crashes analytics, push notifications, and app store releases.
• Able to debug across devices, networks, and OS versions.
• Hands-on approach in a fast-moving startup.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a mobile platform for onboarding, recording, and live conversations.
• Own features from requirements through release and monitoring.
• Collaborate with founders, product, design, backend, and operations to simplify workflows.
• Improve audio capture quality, upload reliability, offline behavior, latency, and permissions.
• Create contributor flows for recording tasks, metadata, QA feedback, and payments.
• Instrument mobile analytics to measure conversion and quality.
• Partner with backend to design APIs and upload pipelines for mobile data.
• Debug production issues across devices and networks.
• Help define mobile architecture, testing strategy, and standards.
