Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a Project Engineer to design and lead multiple municipal transportation projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to develop cost-effective, constructible solutions and ensure quality through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include producing design deliverables, BIM/CAD modeling, hand calculations, and supporting proposals while mentoring junior staff and maintaining standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. Degree in engineering from an accredited college.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in the location of practice is required.
• Minimum four years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design deliverables for multiple projects and coordinate with other design disciplines.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and drawings in accordance with codes and standards.
• Assist in project proposals, cost estimates and feasibility studies and support business development.
