Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a Design Engineer to contribute to municipal infrastructure projects such as streets, water/wastewater systems, and utilities. You will develop design deliverables, use BIM/CAD tools, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure quality and timely results.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program, is proficient with BIM/CAD software, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited university is required.
• Engineer in Training Certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design and coordinates construction documents per codes and PEC standards.
• Assists with submittals, site investigations, and RFIs under supervision of Project Engineer.
• Performs design and takeoff calculations by hand and with software.
• Organizes multiple projects to meet schedules and PEC standards.
• Coordinates with Design Team to complete tasks and maintain project documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned at PEC's discretion.
