Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a Project Engineer to design multiple transportation projects and lead other design professionals within their discipline. You will collaborate with PEC's clients and internal teams to develop engineering solutions.

This role uses BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based methods to produce deliverables, while ensuring quality and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in the location of practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of projects and supervise other design professionals.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Support project proposals, cost estimates, feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with other design teams for construction documents.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
• Support business development and client relationships.
