Job summary

The Project Engineer at Professional Engineering Consultants will be responsible for design on multiple projects, directing and/or leading other design professionals within their discipline, and working with PEC's clients to develop engineering solutions. This role utilizes BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based calculations.

You will contribute to roadway design, plan production, permitting, and construction support while ensuring quality and attention to detail throughout the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum four years of engineering experience.
• PE license in the location of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Perform engineering design and coordinate with other staff for construction document production in compliance with codes.
• Communicate potential risks to the Project Manager in a timely fashion.
• Mentor, train and develop less experienced staff.
