Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering or architecture with five years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager on large projects as a backup.
• Observe and administer construction to ensure compliance and progress; participate in weekly meetings.
• Review payment applications, change orders, and allowances for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with City staff, architects and contractors to resolve design and construction conflicts in the field.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and perform field observations as needed.
