Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support the ongoing rehabilitation of Tucson House, a 358-unit high-rise multifamily community in Tucson, Arizona. You will coordinate daily field operations, support subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and company standards.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification and a demonstrated commitment to a safe, compliant site.
• Experience overseeing multifamily rehabilitation or renovation projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day field construction activities for the rehab of Tucson House.
• Work with four other Superintendents, PMs, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to coordinate work and maintain communication.
• Monitor schedules, sequencing, labor, materials, and subcontractor performance to address delays.
• Serve as on-site contact for subcontractors, inspectors, and ownership representatives and coordinate inspections.
• Enforce safety requirements, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain a clean, safe site per OSHA and company standards.
• Maintain accurate logs, photos, inspection records, and field reports using MS Office and project tools.
• Manage punch-list, closeout activities, and ensure accountability and resident awareness.
