Job summary

Venterra Realty seeks a Maintenance Technician at Avasa Grove West in Florida to support daily maintenance operations and ensure apartments are move-in ready. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and assist the Maintenance Manager, delivering quality service and safety.

You’ll work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other tasks, lead by example, and provide on-call support to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required; CPO certification preferred.
• Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly, ensuring quality service and adherence to 24- and 48-hour guarantees where applicable.
• Perform maintenance and repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structures).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and common areas in top condition.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs and ensuring features work per the Total Quality Make Ready program.
