Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Acclaim at South Congress in Austin, TX. You will oversee maintenance staff, coordinate work orders, and ensure quality service and curb appeal for residents.

Role requires multifamily maintenance experience, supervisory skills, and a hands-on approach to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry work, with on-call availability and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Inspect grounds, building, and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Manage and order maintenance supplies inventory within budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for the community.
• Supervise maintenance staff and train under Community Manager.
• Manage on-call emergencies in the community.
• Plan for and obtain bids/pricing from vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
